FRUIT STICKERS (A NEW PERSPECTIVE)

FRUIT STICKERS (A New Perspective), was an exhibition put together by a group of six regular fruit eaters & design students from Te Whanganui-a-tara: Briar Lomas, Liam Collinson, Rosa Shand, Billie McGuiness, Christopher Simon & Mia Walsh. The project looked into the life and times of the ubiquitous fruit sticker; an everyday piece of design ephemera with playful potential. Created as an accompanying text to the 2019 design exhibition, Fruit Stickers (A Retrospective) held at {Suite} Gallery, Wellington, New Zealand, this publication touches on topics of sustainability, food production, and branding, all with a fresh’n’fruity feel.
