Michaella Hui is a graphic designer and recent graduate of the Visual Communication Design BDes Honours programme at Wellington School of Design.
Yum Cha is an illustration from Michaella Hui's artist book Levels, a curated book of illustrated excerpts from her diary through New Zealand's COVID-19 Lockdown. On 4 May 2020 (Day 40 of New Zealand's first lockdown), Michaella was really beginning to miss a few things — yum cha being one of them!
